Fong’s Europe reorganized the way it manages its product data with PRO.FILE. The data is no longer stored locally in the file system, but in a single location in PRO.FILE. This results in consistent item master data across CAD and ERP, current and valid production documents and automated BOM comparisons.
By bringing together all relevant documents as a single work order and facilitating the retrieval of these documents in addition to giving Fong’s the ability to manage its versions, establish traceability, and create where-used lists, the solution helped streamline the company’s manufacturing processes.
