Karlsruhe, May 16, 2017: PROCAD GmbH & Co. KG completed fiscal 2016/17 (as of 31.03.2017) with an increase in revenues and orders, even allowing it to exceed the previous year’s already excellent results. PROCAD won a large number of new customers both at home and abroad, a strong confirmation of its business strategy. PROCAD is also off to a great start into the new fiscal year.

It hired 13 new employees in the previous year and is continuing to expand its international operations. Today, the Germany-based company employs more than 130 men and women. PROCAD sells its products from its five German locations and through a network of international offices and partners in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxemburg, Italy, Austria, Switzerland and the United States.

Founded in 1985, the software development company has built its success on mid-sized companies specializing in mechanical and plant engineering and is also growing into other technical industries. PROCAD’s solutions support these companies in developing, manufacturing, and documenting their products.

Over the past year, PROCAD continued to expand its solution portfolio; the latest version 8.7 of its flagship product PRO.FILE will add a number of optimizations to give users a smarter way to work with documents in technical structures that can also be used in connection with the PRO.FILE enhancement PRO.CEED for PLM applications and processes.  With the release of version 3.0 of the document exchange hub PROOM, PROCAD was also able to grow its customer base in this market segment. With PROOM, companies can ensure the confidential exchange of large amounts of frequently changing data with customers, suppliers, and business partners.
