PROCAD Truck Tour on PLM digitalization a resounding success

For two and a half years, a truck filled with PLM knowledge took “digitalization to the streets” – with stops at more than 100 locations across Germany and its neighboring countries.

Karlsruhe, October 28, 2019. Mission accomplished: When, after driving more than 33,000 miles on the roads of Germany and its neighboring countries, the PROCAD Truck made its last stop on August 22, 2019, the PROCAD team got to reflect on more than two and a half years of a truly exceptional format. Themed “The Digital Future of Your Product Data”, the PROCAD IMPULSE TOUR 2017-2019 proved to be a tremendous success with more than 100 stops and more than 2,500 attendees. Echoing the sentiment of other attendees, the CEO of an Italian PROCAD customer pointed out: “Your visit was an eye opener.”

The PROCAD IMPULSE TOUR 2017-2019 brought the digital future of product data into the present. Attendees learned how their companies can drive the digitalization of their product and document lifecycle management. Ever since April 6, 2017, when the truck filled to the brim with PLM/DMS software technology and expert knowledge made its first stop at the headquarters of PROCAD customer Brita, it traveled the roads of Germany and beyond – focusing on Germany throughout the first year and then crossing the borders of Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Italy. It provided the perfect place for employees from across the enterprise to come together and discuss digitalization with their colleagues from other divisions. But it was not just the attendees who gained valuable insights, PROCAD came out a winner as well: customer engagement and loyalty and working hand in hand with users towards a digital future based on PRO.FILE. Looking back, the Impulse Tour was a – two-and-a-half-year – moment of success for both PROCAD and its customers and prospects!
