A different take on the traditional one-on-one talk show: PROCAD experts engage in Q and A with host Bernd Gnann to share their PDM, PLM and DMS expertise in a modern format.

Karlsruhe, March 18, 2019. The abundance of readily available information online makes it increasingly difficult to find content that offers real value. PROCAD, a leading vendor of product and document lifecycle management software, has added a new knowledge transfer tool to its information strategy: the Digital Late Night Show. Its goal is to make complex IT matters entertaining and engaging. In each show, TV personality and artistic director Bernd Gnann welcomes a PROCAD expert to his late night set to discuss the latest and most important developments in PDM and PLM software, document exchange, collaborative PLM, technical document management, and digitalization in technical industries in general.

The new format is an informative, modern, friendly, appealing and entertaining way to convey knowledge to PROCAD customers and prospects along their research and decision-making journey. PROCAD’s experts will periodically answer questions that frequently come up in technical companies to share their expertise. The new educational format is the perfect way for the PLM software vendor to address abstract issues in a concise, condensed and easy to understand manner, making it an insightful addition to its existing Knowledge Portal with its resources on product data management (PDM system), product lifecycle management (PLM system), document exchange in project collaboration, and document management (DMStec system).

Till Pleyer, Head of Marketing at PROCAD: “Given the constant stream and universality of information today, no one really reads endless pages of professional articles or watches colorful but inconsequential product films anymore. We came up with the Digital Late Night Show to give our customers and prospects an easy way to get a grasp on complex knowledge.” The message of the videos: This is how your digital business processes could look like tomorrow. The first two episodes of the talk show are devoted to DMStec (document management system) and document exchange with PROOM and are already available online. Two more episodes – featuring a segment on the much discussed issue of the digital information twin – are currently in preparation.
