We chose to rely on configuration and lifecycle management. At the same time, we were looking for the perfect way to streamline the flood of items, BOMs and material requirements. This is why we need PLM.
Tramper Technology

Tramper Technology considers its development department a think tank. That is why its teams need to be able to access all information they need to get their work done and optimize their products with just a few clicks. Mechatronics designers in particular need their mechanical and electrotechnical design documents to be closely integrated. These teams also need to be able to pull information from manufacturing, commissioning, maintenance, and service to allow them to identify weaknesses and improve their products.
Tramper Technology was no stranger to the idea of using PDM solutions to manage its CAD data. The company used to rely on Vault to store and manage its documents. But the basic functionality it provided was not what André Tramper had in mind. He wanted to unify his company’s document management and include the management of its engineering data from its ECAD and MCAD systems.
