Founded in 1982 as LSW Maschinenfabrik GmbH, the company now operating as KUKA Systems GmbH is a supplier to the automotive industry. Its Assembly & Test division builds computer-based automation systems for the efficient assembly of driveline products.
KUKA Systems uses PRO.FILE to manage and document its product development processes and quality management of production lines across departmental boundaries. The optimization of its parts management both with regard to drawings and norm and purchased parts were among the company’s main reasons for implementing PRO.FILE.
KUKA Systems achieved this by integrating PRO.FILE with SolidWorks and PARTsolutions from CADENAS on the engineering/IT level and with SAP on the business/IT level von CADENAS.
