IMS: Gear is a market leader in gear wheel engineering and gear systems. The automotive industry in particular relies on the standard components and complete gear solutions coming from this company with 150 years of history.

At IMS Gear, PRO.FILE manages the company’s documents, documents its quality assurance and manufacturing processes, and manages the product lifecycle. Today, the multi-CAD functionality is used by some 180 employees in the United States, Germany, Mexico, and China. 20 of them are CAD users.

IMS Gear leverages PROOM to exchange documents with external development partners, giving it better visibility into project collaboration and ensuring the secure exchange of technical documents by means of virtual project rooms.

We would have an employee uprising on our hands if we were to take the PDM system away from them again.
