In its online education offering on everything PLM and DMStec, PROCAD teams up with its customers to demonstrate how its platform helps them control and integrate their product data across the enterprise.

Karlsruhe, July 23, 2020. PROCAD GmbH & Co. KG has expanded its offering of online events for IT professionals and managers interested in PLM. These events are dedicated to educating them about the benefits and practical applications of document management (DMS) and product lifecycle management (PLM system) software – and to taking a look at the bigger picture: the integrative nature of having PLM, PDM, and DMStec interact. These online education events are designed to address real-world needs and are accompanied by live scenarios and actual customer examples that serve to illustrate what these systems are capable of and how they support day-to-day business operations. Participation is free of charge and participants are invited to share their questions and comments.

The last event, for example, featured representatives from Proman Group who shared their experiences with replacing their incumbent database solution with an intuitive and individually configurable PLM and DMStec system. Proman is an engineering, procurement and construction services group and relies on PRO.FILE as a Product Data Backbone that allows it to maintain complete audit trails for its myriad of project documents. The PLM platform establishes an enterprise-wide document review cycle with a predefined procedure for each document it holds.

During the DMStec education event, the Proman representatives presented a practical view of how PRO.FILE helped them digitalize their project management processes from end to end. As the online event drew to a close, they were happy to answer questions on the impact of the switch to PRO.FILE, which resulted in a seamless communication and user experience and the ability to access relevant information at any time.
