PURPLE PIG BUILD WITH GROSVENOR

Purple Pig Productions was asked by Cambridge United and Grosvenor to produce a video to indicate the plans of the Cambridge United Youth & Community Trust.
The Abbey Stadium, home of Cambridge United Football Club, was acquired in April 2010 by Grosvenor, a privately owned property group with offices in 18 of the world's most dynamic cities. Grosvenor, together with local partner Wrenbridge, have embarked upon an ambitious and exciting project to relocate Cambridge United as part of the new Community Stadium and Sporting Village development.A balance of ambition and pragmatism, their aim is to deliver the best for Cambridge and to blend seamlessly the sporting and additional needs of the local residents, businesses and key stakeholders on a financially sustainable long term footing.

LAUNCH OF A NEW PLAYER

Purple Pig Productions are pleased to announce the partnership with Cambridge United FC has continued with the launch of CU Player this week.

After years of waiting we are pleased to announce the official launch of CU Player, Cambridge United's official video and audio service which includes exclusive interviews, news, match highlights, audio and much more…We have teamed up with Purple Pig Productions (www.purplepigproductions.co.uk) and Anglia Ruskin University to produce a fantastic video online service the Club has never had before. Chris Neilson of Purple Pig will co-ordinate and help produce the project with students from the University. This will drive new weekly videos to the site such as weekly press conference, match highlights, post match interviews with managers and players, features about the Club and players.
Cambridge United Commercial Manager, Claudine Bone commented "It's fantastic to be able to integrate with the community via Anglia Ruskin University and get Player up and running, providing a tool for our fans to use. This enables the fans to feel that the Club is touchable and gives a platform for our sponsors to say why they are so committed to Cambridge United. "Footage from the away games allows fans who can't travel to still be a part of the amber army and the insight into press call and training is something which is normally behind closed doors and those doors are now open."The practical experience for the students to be able to create something from nothing is a great addition to any CV and something that money can't buy. PRE SEASON FILMING FOR UNITED PLAYER

Purple Pig and students from Anglia Ruskin University took part in the first filming sessions for Cambridge United Player on Friday morning.
Filming included exclusive interviews with the manager Jez George and the new signings.

NICK COLLINS REVIEWS THE GILLS WITH PURPLE PIG

Sky Sports Chief Football reporter Nick Collins worked with Purple Pig to review the 2010/11 season at Gillingham FC as part of the end of season dinner party VT.
Creative Director Chris Neilson, said “Knowing Nick was a big Gills fan I asked him earlier in the year if he fancied being apart of the project, he was very keen from the go. GILLINGHAM LADIES REVIEW

Gills Ladies hosted their Player of the Year awards last weekend.
Before the awards were given out the players were treated to a Review of the Season video.
The piece was put together by Purple Pig and it showcased the Ladies most successful season ever as they won the South East Combination Women's League and promotion to the Southern Premiership.
The players and management of the Club were over the moon with the piece that was produced for them by Purple Pig.
Director of Football Martin Andrews, said: "It was amazing to see the girls achievements on the big screen. It rounded off the best season that this club has ever had very nicely.
"I would like th thank Purple Pig for their excellent piece it was an excellent piece."

Following the success of the end of season review VT for Gillingham Football Club, Purple Pig Productions can exclusively reveal today that they have been approached to produce another end of season review.
Gillingham Ladies FC have approached Purple Pig about putting together a review for their forthcoming Player of the Year awards to showcase their most successful season ever.
We were only to pleased to help out a club who have just won promotion to the FA Southern Premiership and we are looking forward to the challenge of producing a piece that showcases the talents of both the first and reserve teams this season.

PURPLE PIG PREMIERE

Last night saw Gillingham Football Club host their annual Player of the Year awards and with that it saw the debut of our end of season VT.
In April Purple Pig Productions were asked by the club to produce three video pieces for the gala end of season awards. A minute long promo, a review of the season and the goal of the season compilation.
Whilst on the pitch the Gills were relegated to League Two, off the pitch the video package was extremely well received by those who were in attendance, especially the goal of season package.
The video packages will be online on the Purple Pig Television channel for everyone to view in the coming weeks.

SPILLER PIECE STILL GOING STRONG

Danny Spiller will feature on BBC South East Today at 1:30 and 6:30pm where he will be discussing his innovative video cv. The piece produced by Purple Pig Productions really has hit the headlines in recent days.
Spiller was also on national radio station Talksport on Wednesday 21st April where he spoke to afternoon show hosts Hawksbee and Jacobs about his video CV. 
Since Purple Pig produced the piece with Danny no one could have imagined just the success that it would have in terms of media coverage, and we wish Danny all the best in finding a new club off the back off this coverage.
Talking about the media coverage Creative Director Chris Nielson, said: “Not only does this benefit Danny Spiller as it gives him coverage in his attempts to find a new club, but it also shows just what Purple Pig Productions can do.”

Purple Pigs Video CV for the Dagenham and Redbridge midfielder is proving an internet smash with more than 1,200 hits since it was launched
Not only that but the local and national press have picked up on this unique idea and are giving it coverage on an almost daily basis. Just this morning Danny Spiller is featured on page 50 of the Metro newspaper, highlighting the unusual way he is trying to engineer a move to a new Football Club.
It is an exciting time for both Danny and Purple Pig Productions, as when they embarked on this project together they never knew just how much coverage it would bring for the player.

Purple Pig Productions recently produced a video CV for Dagenham and Redbridge midfielder Danny Spiller, Spiller who came to the company looking for something to show case his talents on the football pitch.
Spiller who counts Gillingham and Millwall amongst his former clubs, wanted to put together a video CV that he could distribute to potential clubs.Naturally he came to Purple Pig Productions because of their expertise in putting together a professional production using a team of highly skilled professionals.
